About John Fields
I am a retired forester living close to the Southern Oregon Coast. There is a strong spiritual dimension to my character, which comes out in my writing. Working a full career in the woods also influences what I think and write. As a retired person, I also have time to paint and indulge in other creative pursuits. Also I spend time as a CASA. All of the woods scenes in my work is very authentic from first hand experience.
Grateful Life is my first book. This book is short and a good escape for a long afternoon. Expect a full emotional experience.
