A Featured Selection has to survive ten weeks of scrutiny from readers who will cite the page. Very few titles are built for that.
Featured Book Each quarter, one book is selected as our Featured Selection based on its capacity to spark meaningful dialogue.
Featured Selections are chosen for their ideas, not their popularity. Selection criteria include originality of thought, ethical relevance, and potential for long term impact. Each year balances at least one enduring classic and one contemporary voice, alongside genre range across literary fiction, memoir, essay, and the occasional ambitious nonfiction.

Members may nominate a title or an author during the seasonal nomination window that opens once per quarter.
